Updated Pool Information

5/18/2020: Montgomery County health officials announced that all public and private community pools will not open Memorial Day weekend for the traditional start of summer, due to COVID-19 restrictions affecting the health and safety of patrons and employees. Restrictions apply to pools operated by Montgomery County Recreation, as well as apartment and condominium complex pools, and private swim clubs. Additional information is available here.

The FY2021 draft budget package for the Fountain Hills Community Association (FHCA) is now available. Please note that this document is password-protected and is only available to FHCA homeowners.

Important Pool News

Please look for your pool passes from last year, as they will be your pool passes again THIS year. If you have lost them, please be advised that there is a $50 replacement cost for each misplaced pass. Payment must be received by IKO Management Office before your passes will be issued.

Homeowners who rent their units are responsible for getting the pool passes from tenants who may have moved out during the year. New tenant passes will also be charged the $50 replacement cost.

If your pool passes are damaged, they may be replaced. Simply mail them to tIKO Community Management, 3416 Olandwood Court, #210, Olney, MD 20832, Attention: Jennifer Diaz.

Community EV Charging Station

The Fountain Hills Community is now home to an electric vehicle (EV) charging station located at 18701 Club Plaza Drive. Look for the EV Charging Station in the Condominium parking area below the Fountain Hills Pool.

The FHC-ChargePoint EV Charging Station is operated by the Fountain Hills Condominium. The Condominium has opened membership for use of the EV Charging Station to all residents of the Fountain Hills Community. Membership is free and Fountain Hills Community members pay only a small fee based on the electricity they consume.  Please send your completed EV Membership Application to fountainhillscondominium@gmail.com to enroll.

Policy Resolution for Parking and Storage of Vehicles

maroon_circle_90px_policyThe Board has approved a Policy Resolution for Parking and Storage of Vehicles which will govern all HOA maintained parking spaces in the community. All residents are encouraged to read this policy and report any violations to IKO Community Management.

For safety reasons, please do not park on the sidewalks as this blocks the sidewalks and forces residents to walk on the street. In addition, please obey all “No Parking” and “Fire Lane” signs. We have active towing throughout the community and vehicles will be towed. Play it safe and park properly!

Speeding in the Community

maroon_circle_90px_speedometerCounty law specifies a speed limit of 20 mph on private roads without posted speed limit signs. Help keep our community safe and please obey all stop signs and the community’s 20 mph speed limit.

Trash and Recycling

maroon_circle_90px_trash_canAll materials prepared for collection must not be set out earlier than 5:00pm the day before your collection day. Recycling containers must be removed from the collection location no later than 5:00pm the day after. County collection regulations require that all materials prepared for collections must be at curbside no later than 7:00am on your designated trash and/or recycling day. Please also be aware that trash and recycling containers are not to be stored outside on non-collection days, nor are they allowed to be stored on common area property.
