Formerly the Discover Sports Center, the Adventist HealthCare Fieldhouse is a state of the art multisport indoor facility designed to complement the Maryland SoccerPlex. The 66,000 square foot complex encompasses eight basketball and/or volleyball courts on a lined urethane surface from March to November.
There are two NHL hockey rinks complete with netting and a dasher board system and roll out a layer of artificial turf for indoor soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, baseball, and rugby. The fieldhouse also features a café, arcade, and a party/conference room and has a fully equipped men’s and women’s locker rooms and family bathrooms to compliment our indoor events as well as the Maryland SoccerPlex’s marquee stadium events.

The Germantown Indoor Swim Center is located within the South Germantown Recreational Park. Family recreational swim periods and lap swim periods are available daily. The Germantown Indoor Swim Center operates from 6:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week.

Facilities at the Germantown Outdoor Pool include an eight-lane, 25 meter lap pool with two diving boards, a freeform shallow-water leisure pool and two large water flumes with kiddy slide, tot pool, snack bar, bathhouse and lawn areas.
MARC Train – Brunswick Line

The MARC Brunswick Line is a 74 mile line that runs eastbound in the morning and westbound in the afternoon/evening on CSX-owned tracks between Washington, D.C., and Martinsburg, West Virginia, with a 14 mile branch to Frederick, Maryland.
Maryland Soccerplex

The Maryland SoccerPlex is a sports complex that is a facility operated by the Maryland Soccer Foundation (MSF) and has 21 natural grass fields, 3 artificial turf fields, and 8 indoor convertible basketball/volleyball courts.
In the park, there are also two miniature golf courses, a splash park, a driving range, an archery course, community garden, model boat pond, a bike park featuring a linked jump line and a pump track, tennis center, and a swim center.

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) acquired the South Germantown Recreational Park in the 1960’s to serve as a recreational park for the upper Montgomery County area. The Sidney Kramer Upcounty Regional Services Center is a full-service center with something for everyone in the community, including recreation and parks offices, health and human service agencies, a daycare center, and regional offices of the Montgomery County Public Schools. In order to promote tourism, the Montgomery County Conference and Visitors Bureau is strategically located in the Center, along with the Germantown Chamber of Commerce.
The Fountain Hills Community Association holds its monthly Board of Directors meeting at this location on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm.
